In 2023 the Michael Ramsey Prize was awarded to Frederick Christian Bauerschmidt for The Love that is God: An Invitation to the Christian Faith (William B. Eerdmans Publishing).
The prize was awarded at Lambeth Palace Library on Thursday 14 December, 2023. The event was hosted by Elizabeth Oldfield, former Director of think tank ‘Theos’ and current host of The Sacred podcast. The ceremony featured speeches from the shortlisted authors.

In 2019 the Michael Ramsey Prize was awarded to Mark Oakley for his book The Splash of Words: Believing in Poetry (Canterbury Press).
The prize was awarded at Greenbelt Festival on Sunday 25 August, 2019.

The Michael Ramsey Prize was inaugurated in 2005 when the winner was Bishop Tom Wright’s work The Resurrection of the Son of God – Christian Origins and the Question of God (SPCK).
